Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The third Harry Potter book is one of my favorites and so I’ve longed to read it ever since I finished the second one. Harry’s third year at Hogwarts, with the coldblooded murderer Sirius Black on the loose from the wizard prison Azkaban, is a really exciting one. It all starts when Harry is still at Privet Drive number four with his aunt and uncle during summer vacation. Harry leaves in a furry and ends up in London after a crazy ride on the knight bus. He waits for the new term to begin at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry and together with Ron and Hermione, he returned to the school on September first.

Without knowing it, Sirius Black sneaks around Hogwarts property while Harry tries to get out of the castle to join his friends on the Hogsmead visits. Harry knows that Black is after him, but he has so much else on his mind, schoolwork, friends and of course quidditch, and for a moment he forgets that a coldblooded murderer is after him. But before he knows it, he stands face to face with Sirius Black himself.

Most people have probably read the book, and if not, at least seen the movie so there is not much I can say about it that you don’t already know. Though I believe that, if one loves the Harry Potter books and haven’t read them in English, you should. They are so much better in their native language, you get even closer to Harry and his magical world.
